Seo In Guk comes to Washington, D.C for his 1st Fan Meeting!
Seo In Guk is an actor and singer from South Korea. His extensive filmography has quite the range. His charm shown brightly in the heartfelt, humorous and well-beloved classic Korean drama, “Reply 1997”. In Guk played the role of the grim reaper in the supernatural yet romantic and heart achingly beautiful show “Doom At Your Service”. In his most recent psychological thriller drama, “Death’s Game" he showed his vulnerable side. As he played the role of a man who felt lost in life and he experiences many different unique struggles while trying to re-gain control of his life again. In Guk has also shown his love of singing and acting while starring in the musicals, “Gwanghwamun Love Song’” and most recently in 2023, “Monte Cristo”.
In Guk also has as a discography filled with songs ranging from ballads to classic R&B love songs. like the songs “Fallen’”and “BeBe”. His voice sounds warm and lovely just like the the romance dramas he stars in. Yet his voice is strong and carried throughout the entire concert venue when he sung for his fans {affectionally called, (“iHeartriders”) during his first United States fan meeting in the nation’s capitol , Washington, D.C.
There were these heartfelt moments where he played fun and interactive games with his fans. He danced with iHeartriders, gave them hugs and there was even a mock wedding live on stage for a lucky fan! One special fan got to recreate a scene with In Guk from his drama, “Doom At Your Service” where he runs to the actress who is his love interest in the show and hugs her affectionally. Everyone cheered as he hugged the fan and smiled.
The night of his fan meeting in Washington. D.C was filled with adorable interactions with his fans and a press conference where he discussed his previous films and dramas over the years with his fans. He also discussed which future roles he would like to try as an actor and what genre of music he enjoys creating as a singer. Seo In Guk also sung a few of his songs during the night, fans cheered him on as his vocals carried swoon worthy notes. He even surprised fans at the end of the night by walking off stage and walking into the crowd to meet all everyone who came out to see him.
At the very end of the show, Seo In Guk met every single fan present during his fan meeting. During this special session, fans, staff and members of the press and media waved to him, smiled and expressed their gratitude for his years of art that he has presented to the world. In Guk would smile and wave passionately to his fans as well. For his older fans, he made sure to bend down on the stage to greet them instead of having them walk up the stage stairs.
During the night, anyone would be able to tell how humble Seo In Guk his regarding his talented craft as a performer and an artist. This fan meeting showed how much his fans in Washington, D.C support him and it shows how much he appreciates everyone who has supported him throughout the years. This fan meeting showed how is one of the top all-rounders in South Korea’s entertainment industry today.
