I was not familiar with Euro’s music before I heard this song, I instantly loved the soft and sweet tone of his voice. His voice flows nicely over the acoustic guitar and atmospheric instrumentals. When the chorus starts, a 80’s music style piano plays in the background. There are also sounds in the song that sound like sparkles, adding a cute vibe to this lovely R&B/Pop ballad.
‘When I’m With U” makes me nostalgic and reminds of pop R&B songs from the 90’s. It reminds me of songs like ‘Always Be My Baby’ by Mariah Carey and ‘I Have Nothing’ by Whitney Houston. Euro’s voice is light and airy while Jimmy’s voice is clear and smooth. Together their voices both compliment and contrast each other making it a perfect pair for this song.
Jimmy brown is a singer based in Korea. He is known for his romantic, sensual and honest songs that range from R&B, ballads, pop and hip-hop. His 549,791 monthly listeners on Spotify are enamored with his romantic approach to music. Jimmy has a clear and soft R&B vocal tone and sings in beautiful falsettos, I think it was a great choice to have him on this song as a singer, lyricist and composer.
Among the English lyrics in the song, there are lyrics in Thai that are also quite lovely. My rough translation is from Google Translate but from what I gathered, I thought the lyrics were beautiful. I did not even notice the switch from English to Thai lyrics it was a such a smooth and natural transition.
